United Christian Center Ministries International– Kasubi as a Pentecostal church started in 1994 under leadership of Ap. Stephen Senfuma.  And has since then birthed many projects among which is Omunt w’Omunda child development center (UG544) in partnership with Compassion International-Uganda.

The church has important responsibilities in selecting committed project workers, while Compassion has important responsibilities to support the church by helping equip these workers.

Innerman Broadcasting Co. Ltd is a Christian broadcasting radio station under United Christian Center – Kasubi. The station broadcasts spiritual content aimed at voicing out Christ to one’s heart. It is situated at Makerere – Kikoni on Kasubi road in Kampala.

The station seeks to recruit competent persons to fill the following positions.

Title:   Production / Operations Manager
Reports: Station Manager
Duty Station: Kasubi Kampala

Job Purpose
To plan, coordinate and produce audio content through different presenters under his/her supervision at 107.5 Innerman FM in line with Church values and the license guidelines.

Key duties and Responsibilities

  1. Produce audio, voice-overs and copy-writing services to the programming and marketing sections of the radio station.
  2. Design and execute in-house production which includes voicing, writing, dubbing and archiving commercials, promotional announcements and other on air content as requested from the Marketing Manager.
  3. Assign and direct on-air staff (presenters) in the production (and writing, where applicable) of commercials and/or contents for the clients/audience.
  4. Provide creative support to the marketing department and clients with regard to commercials and promotional announcements.
  5. Responsible for monitoring the quality of all on-air commercials thereby ensuring compliance with on-air regulations governing broadcasting standards in Uganda.
  6. Monitor the social media usage, engagement with the listeners to evaluate customer satisfaction and listenership.
  7. Direct and manage presenters on a day-to-day basis through updating their schedules and program line-up thereby managing traffic at the station.
  8. Responsible for gathering, editing and censuring news to be aired on the radio station thereby ensuring its accuracy and reliability.
  9. Provides advice and assistance to station manager in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of modification to existing operations, systems, and procedures.
  10. Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  1. Degree in Journalism, Mass Communication and Media studies.
  2. Post qualifications in the media programming and management is an added advantage.
  3. Mature Christian with strong commitment to strong Christian beliefs and values.
  4. Three (3) years’ experience in a broadcasting station.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required

  • Strong command of English and Luganda languages (reading and writing).
  • Demonstrated ability to speak effectively and fluently before customers and managers
  • Ability to operate a mixing console, digital recorder, and audio processing equipment (digital or analog).
  • Ability to operate a computer for general office functionality
  • Creativity is a must.
  • On air experience and social media knowledge are both considered a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of personalities in a diverse community.

Job Purpose
To plan, present and engage audience through voicing out Christ-like content on 107.5 Innerman FM in line with United Christian Center Church values and the Uganda Communication Commission (UCC) license guidelines.

Key duties and Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for preparing a script, making announcements and conducting interviews within the station and outside.
  2. Control the switch board, make commercials and keep accurate logs of all commercials aired out during the show.
  3. Air out or produce audio, voice-overs and copywriting services to the programming and marketing sections of the radio station.
  4. Execute in-house production which includes voicing, writing, dubbing and archiving commercials, promotional announcements and other on air content as requested from the Marketing Manager.
  5. Ensures compliance with on-air regulations governing broadcasting standards in Uganda and engages the listeners on the various topics of discussion.
  6. Some radio presenters attend press conferences so they can present up-to-date and accurate information to listeners.
  7. Coordinate with producers to develop program material while taking into consideration the type of show they are creating and requests from the audience.
  8. Market the station in other fora and help with preparing content for the program.
  9. Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  1. Diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication and Media studies or radio broadcasting.

Job Purpose
To develop and implement the brand and marketing strategy for Innerman 107.5 FM through collaboration with the other teams. The Marketing manager will also manage critical relationships with key internal and external stakeholders in line with the United Christian Center Church values and the Uganda Communication Commission (UCC) license guidelines.

Key duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop brand strategies for Innerman 107.5 FM and sell the different programs to the target audience.
  2. Review the strategy, the mode of delivery and match it against brand guidelines to ensure creative consistency of look, image, identity and values of United Christian Center (UCC).
  3. Undertake research to analyze and evaluate audience insight, and use this information to provide recommendations on future marketing strategies.
  4. Works effectively with production and content providers to ensure client needs are satisfied.
  5. Develop creative briefs and prepare scripts, for making announcements and conducting interviews within the station and outside.
  6. Identifying and managing risks and issues, and escalating as required
  7. Stay abreast of technology trends and use this to contribute ideas to the Brand and Marketing Strategy.
  8. Co-ordinate information that is required for Marketing on a regular basis.
  9. Any other duties assigned from time to time.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or any other related course.
  2. Experience in proposal writing and or radio marketing and branding is an added advantage.
  3. Mature Christian with strong commitment to strong Christian beliefs and values.
  4. Three (3) years’ experience in Branding and Marketing.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required

  • Demonstrated ability to speak effectively and fluently before customers and managers.
